Now that you’ve gotten to know your Blanko and are officially besties, it’s almost party time! There’s a whole lot to do in Blankos Block Party, and if you’re not sure where to start, we’ve got you covered.
How to play Brawl
If Blankos Block Party were a feast, Brawl would be the main course. Want to hop right into the action and duke it out against other Blankos in the finest challenges and maps the game has to offer? Brawl’s not a bad place to start.
Each Brawl pits you against other Blankos in a series of curated Block Parties with the objective of earning top spot on the leaderboard. Each Brawl has something different in store for your Blanko: high-speed races, white-knuckle shoot ‘em ups, and frantic Vibe collecting are all par for the course. If you’re new to Blankos, this mode is a great way to taste-test every kind of fun the competitive side of the game has to offer.
Accumulate your points with each stage of the Brawl and beat out your opponents to be crowned the Champ. Later stages are worth more points, so don’t count out your competition! Rack up the most points to earn a glorious trove of prizes like XP, moola, and pins. Just want to kick it and not sweat the competition? No problem. You’ll still earn prizes just for playing along.
Play Brawl by selecting “Brawl” from the Mode Select on the Desk screen.
How to play a private Block Party
It doesn’t always have to be guts and glory in Blankos Block Party. Sometimes you just want to goof around with your crew, or replay a particularly gnarly map, or just try something new. Choose your own fun by creating a private Block Party and sharing your Join Code with your pals!
With the Party Bus, you’ll be able to browse countless Block Parties built by Blankos just like you. Just select one that looks awesome to you and start the match. In the lobby, peep the Join Code in the upper right corner; share this code with your friends in-game or online and they’ll be able to join you in a flash! Alternatively, you can enter a friend’s Join Code from the Mode Select on the Desk Screen to join their Block Party instantly.
You can find both Party Bus and Join Code in the Mode Select on the Desk screen.
How to enter The Junction
Blankos isn’t just a game - it’s a world full of things to see, characters to meet, and discoveries just waiting to be made! The Junction is a chill open-world space perfect for hanging out with your friends between matches, enjoying the weird and goofy scenery, or just exploring to your Blanko’s heart’s content!
The Junction is made up of several floating islands, or “hexes”, each with a different atmosphere. Try collecting all of the Vibes in each hex to get a lay of the land and prepare to get vertical with plenty of opportunity for flying, sliding, and even launching out of cannons!
There’s always something going on at The Junction, so make sure to come back from time to time to check out limited-time events, new areas, and more!
You can enter the Junction by selecting “The Junction” from the Mode Select on the Desk Screen.
How to Build
Creativity is one of the foundational pillars of Blankos Block Party, and for those with the superpower of imagination, a limitless toybox awaits in Build Mode. Build your very own Block Parties from scratch and play through them with your buds!
Don’t be intimidated by the sheer vastness of the possibilities - The Foreman will show you the ropes and take you through the basics of how to build. After that, the custom Block Party of your dreams is yours to create!
