1. What is Pulse Arena?
Pulse Arena is a skill-based competitive gaming platform where players compete in short-session, leaderboard-style Challenges for real digital rewards.
Players can:
- Join or create Challenges
- Play supported games during a defined time window
- Compete for leaderboard placement
- Earn rewards based on performance
Pulse Arena launches with Pudgy Party, using the PENGU token on the Abstract network, with more games coming soon.
Getting Started
2. Is Pulse Arena free to use?
Yes.
- The platform is free to access
- Free Challenges cost nothing to enter
- Paid Challenges are optional
3. Do I need to pay to participate in Challenges?
No - both free and paid Challenges exist.
- Free Challenges: No entry fee
- Paid Challenges: Require a small PENGU entry fee
- Entry fees + sponsor contributions form the prize pool
Each Challenge clearly shows whether it’s free or paid before you join.
4. Do I need a crypto wallet before I start?
No.
Pulse can automatically create a non-custodial wallet for you when you sign up.
You only need a wallet if you join paid Challenges.
5. How do I access Pulse Arena and create an account?
Pulse Arena is a web app - no download required.
Steps:
- Visit https://arena.pulse.xyz
- Sign in via email, social login, or wallet
- Choose a username
- (Optional) Connect your game account and wallet
You can browse Challenges without signing in.
Games & Account Linking
6. Which games are currently supported?
- Pudgy Party (only supported game during beta)
More games will be added in future releases.
7. How do I link my game account?
To join Pudgy Party Challenges, you must connect a Mythical Games account linked to your Pudgy Party player account.
Steps:
- Create or log into a Mythical account: https://mythical.market
- Open the Pudgy Party mobile game
- Go to Game Settings
- Link your Mythical account in-game
- Use that same Mythical account when connecting to Pulse Arena
You only need to link once. Pulse will prompt you when required.
Challenges & Tournaments
8. How do I join a Challenge?
Wallet options (Beta):
- Pulse embedded EVM wallet (auto-created)
- Abstract Global Wallet
- MetaMask (manual connection)
For paid Pudgy Party Challenges, you need:
- PENGU (entry fees & prizes)
- ETH on Abstract (gas/network fees)
Steps:
- Open a Challenge from https://arena.pulse.xyz
- Click Join
- Link your game account (if required)
- Select a compatible wallet
- Confirm entry
You can join before a Challenge starts or while it’s live (depending on rules).
9. Can I create my own Challenge?
During beta, Challenge creation is limited to approved users and operators.

10. Can creators or influencers host tournaments?
Yes. Creator-hosted Challenges are a core feature, but access is limited during beta.

Scoring, Leaderboards & Rewards
11. How are scores tracked?
- Scores come directly from trusted game-server data
- Updated near real time while a Challenge is live
- Locked after the Challenge ends
Final results are:
- Reviewed briefly post-Challenge
- Settled on-chain via smart contracts
- Paid from escrow with one-time claim enforcement
Gameplay logic remains off-chain for performance and security.
12. Are leaderboards updated in real time?
Almost.
Leaderboard updates usually appear after each match or round.
Some stats may briefly show as “pending.”
13. Do I need to submit screenshots or proof?
No.
All scoring is automated and pulled directly from game servers.
14. What rewards can I earn?
Current rewards include:
- PENGU tokens (paid Challenges)
- Placement-based payouts for top leaderboard finishers
Reward details are shown clearly on each Challenge page.
15. Are NFT rewards supported?
Not during the current beta.
NFT rewards may be added in the future.

After settlement, rewards must be manually claimed from the Challenge Detail page.
