…sure, they get the headlines. The hype. The draft night drip. But if you’ve been around this league long enough, you know greatness doesn’t always walk in through the front door. Sometimes, it sneaks in the side window wearing a chip on its shoulder and a sixth-round pick number.
That’s what Sleepers ‘25 is all about.
We kicked off Tuesday, June 10th! NFL Rivals is handing the mic to the grinders. The underdogs. The second, third, fourth (heck, maybe even seventh) round picks who are ready to show the world they should’ve gone higher. These aren’t just benchwarmers, these are top-ranked talents who fell in the Draft but are rising in your lineup.
Each week for 9 weeks, you’ll find 7 new Sleepers in packs. These cards are tagged by their actual Draft round, so when you see a “3rd Round Pick” label on your new linebacker, you’ll know he’s not just another face in the deck. He’s a player with something to prove.
But here’s the kicker: we’re not just giving these away. You’ll have to earn ‘em.
- Crafting Challenge #1: Turn in rare cards, get yourself an epic Sleeper.
- Crafting Challenge #2: Go bigger, and walk away with that week’s legendary Sleeper.
That legendary player? He’s in packs too, but pulling him is no guarantee.
You’ll need either skill, luck, or both.
“Why are these cards so good?”
Because we’re not judging by round, we’re looking at talent.
We’re building these cards off potential, not position in the pecking order. Just like in the league, it’s not about where you start. It’s about what you do with the shot you get.
And it all leads to this…
The final Sleepers event kicks off Tuesday, August 12. This is where it gets real.
You’ll need Sleepers in your lineup to play; and the more you’ve got, the better your bonus. The top reward? Cleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders. You want him? You better stack your squad and show up ready to ball.
