There’s something special about the start of the NFL season.

That’s what the NFL Kickoff program is all about in NFL Rivals Year 3. We’re not just dropping cards, we’re dropping hope. And this time, every team gets a seat at the table.
We’ve got 33 total player cards in the mix, one from every franchise, each carrying something their team’s hoping for this season. Some squads want redemption. Others want respect.
You’ll see:
- 2 Mythicals – One in packs (ultra rare), one you’ll have to earn at the end of the run.
- 11 Legendary cards – Powerhouses, all season long. And we’re not showing ‘em all at once.
- 10 Epics – Dropping week by week.
- 10 Rares – In packs from day one. No Commons. Because Kickoff isn’t about average.
And this year, we’re keeping things fresh. Every Thursday, new cards hit. One new Legendary. One new Epic. No spoilers. No full reveals on day one. If you want to see what’s next, you’ve got to be in it.
Same Pack Grind, New Flow
We heard you loud and clear; pack bloat was real last year. So we’re keeping it simple.
All Kickoff cards are added to your regular pack pools too. That means every pull’s got a shot to be a heater; even in Stadium Crates.
Events That Matter
Kickoff isn’t just about the packs. We’ve got a full event schedule dialed in:
- Weekly Currency Events – Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays. Play. Earn. Repeat.
- Weekend Chase Events – Real rewards, real stakes. One exclusive card per weekend.
- Final Mythical Event – Only for the top leagues (7-9). No fluff. You want that Mythical? You’ll have to earn it the hard way.
Power Pass + Crafting
We’re rolling out a 40-tier Power Pass over the four weeks. It’s packed with value:
- Gems, tokens, packs, all the usual suspects
- A Legendary exclusive card as your final milestone
