The NFL Playoffs are here, and it’s time to bring the heat in NFL Rivals! For the first time ever, we’re introducing a full-blown NFL Playoffs program, a 4-week seasonal event that kicks off tomorrow, January 9 at 7am PT and runs through Thursday, February 6 at 7am PT. If you’re ready to lead your team to glory, here’s everything you need to know about this epic new program.

What’s the NFL Rivals Playoffs Program?

The NFL playoffs are the peak of the season, where the best of the best battle it out for a shot at Super Bowl greatness. In NFL Rivals, we’re capturing that energy with a program full of challenges, rewards, and exclusive player cards. Here’s what’s in store:

This Season’s Playoff Players:

Each of the 14 playoff teams will have two cards in packs. Each division winner gets a legendary in packs. Their rarity is based on their playoff seed, so those top-seeded teams pack extra heat.
Dynamic Power Boosts: If a playoff player gets a GS card or Super Bowl card, their playoff edition will automatically match that power level. No FOMO here.

Chase Players from Playoff History:

Relive the greatest playoff moments with iconic players from past seasons. These stars will be available in the main events and promo shop.

By Week 4, you’ll be able to upgrade epic players to legendary status.

Currency Collecting Events: Twice a week, earn promo currency to spend in the store.
Main Events: Compete for the program’s best players, including extra boosts for weekend event heroes.
Builder Events: Tailored for new players in the lowest leagues, these events feature rewards that help build competitive teams. (Locked cards, no trading allowed!)

2016 AFC Wild Card - Jadeveon Clowney had 2 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, and 1 interception in a 27-14 win over the Raiders.

2023 NFC Wild Card - Darnell Savage had 4 tackles, 1 pass break up, and 1 interception that he returned 64 yards for a TD in a 48-32 win over DAL.

2017 AFC Championship - Brandin Cooks led all players that weekend with 6 catches for 100 yards in a 24-20 win over JAX.

2023 NFC Divisional - Dre Greenlaw led his team in tackles (8), tackles for a loss (2), and pass break ups (2) while also intercepting 2 passes to stop scoring drives in a 24-21 win over GB.

2022 NFC Wild Card - Dak Prescott threw for 305 yards and 4 TDs while also running for 24 yards and another TD to defeat the Bucs 31-14.

2021 AFC Championship - BJ Hill had 5 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 interception in a close 27-24 win over the Chiefs.

2021 AFC Wild Card - Devin Singletary gained 94 total yards and scored 2 TDs in a 47-17 win over NE.

Asante Samuel Jr | CB | Chargers Legendary | 145 | Chase Event

2022 AFC Wild Card - Asante Samuel Jr was completely lock down. He had 3 solo tackles, 6 pass break ups, and 3 interceptions in a close 31-30 loss. Those 3 interceptions are tied for 2nd most in NFL history for a single Playoff game.

2021 AFC Divisional - Gabriel Davis caught 8 passes for 201 yards and scored 4 TDs in a tough 36-42 loss to KC. Davis holds the NFL record for most TD catches in a playoff game.

Raheem Mostert | RB | 49ers | Legendary | 146 | Chase Event

2019 NFC Championship - Raheem Mostert ran for 229 yards and scored 4 TDs in a 37-20 win over GB. The 4 rushing TDs set the NFL record for most rushing scores in the Playoff game and the 229 rushing yards is 2nd in history.

2021 AFC Divisional - Jeffery Simmons finished with 8 tackles, 3 tackles for a loss, 1 forced fumble, and 3 sacks in a tough 19-16 loss to CIN. The 3 sacks are tied for 4th most in NFL history but the most by a defensive tackle.

AFC | Xavier Worthy and the Chiefs earned the #1 seed in the AFC for this season's NFL Playoffs. Worthy helped his team make the playoffs by catching 59 passes for 638 receiving yards and 6 TDs in his first season.

AFC | Isaiah Likely and the Ravens earned the #3 seed in the AFC for this season's NFL Playoffs. Likely helped his team make the playoffs by catching 42 passes for 477 receiving yards and 6 TDs.

NFC | Jordan Mailata and the Eagles earned the #2 seed in the NFC for this season's NFL Playoffs. Mailata helped his team make the playoffs by giving up 3 or less sacks all year and led an OL that finished 2nd in the NFL in rushing TDs (29).
